What do you need to do to start writing?

The truth is, you need nothing to start writing. You can literally start right now. All you need to do is open up your computer and start typing away. You can consider it my personal permission to you to start writing. Just write whatever is in your head. See what comes out. You can torture over it later. ========================================================================================
Now, make your twitter account and start telling people about how you are starting your writing journey. People there love this kind of thing. Or you can try bluesky, which seems to be a pretty nice place right now. They are really super supportive over there, and it will probably become the next twitter, but don't take my word for it, try it for yourself

You can start making a name for yourself right away. People love new authors. Yes, sometimes they can be judgmental and snarky, but mostly they are pretty good. Then you can make a biniz account and you can start selling your item. Save your file of your writing and then you can sell it on biniz. All you have to do is set a price, make a picture, and then explain to people that once they buy your item you will email them a file of your book. Wallah! You are now in the business of writing books.
